By the end of the first half-year 1942, due to the stress of the Soviet people to the greatest forces were already operating in 1200 evacuated enterprises. Suffice it to say that the production of electricity, steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metal, for the production of military products in the area occupied during the war first. "Father Ural" gave the front 60% of secondary and 100% heavy tanks. Each second shell fired by the Wehrmacht, was made of Ural Steel.
